We also have integration with both Streetworks system options from our HIAMS Works Ordering solution. This works in the following ways:

Street Manager Integration

From the Works Order page, users have the option to launch a new page with an application form ready filled out with all the information that was contained in their Works Order. This means that all the user must do is give the information a once over and send off the application. This software works directly with the DfT’s APIs that have been set up to allow communication between external systems and Street Manager meaning that all validation is done by the DfT ensuring that Street Manager remains the Single Source of Truth. Operating this way means that your data always stays safe and correct, eliminating more than one handling of the data at any time.

EToN 6 Integration

In the same fashion, from the Works Ordering page users can launch the Notice Generator with all fields pertinent to the notice type filled in with the information from the Works Order. When the notice is queued to send, validation from the EToN spec runs and makes sure that all details in the notice are correct before sending to the Authority system.

For both solutions, the system makes a note of the Works Reference and links the Works Order and Streetworks record together to allow the user to link directly to the details page of the works.
