When referring to W.D.M. Limited products and services, please ensure that you use these trade marks appropriately in the following way:
Trade marks are not verbs
Do:The survey was conducted using a SCRIM® machine.
Don’t: The road was SCRIMed.
Trade marks are not nouns
Do: The SCRIM® machine helps reduce accident rates.
Don’t: The SCRIM® helps reduce accident rates.
Trademarks are adjectives and should be followed by the name of the product or service they designate
Do: The SCRIM® machine/device/equipment/survey/vehicle can undertake surveys at different speeds.
Don’t: The survey was conducted using SCRIM.
Always use trade marks in their correct form, if possible followed by the “registered trade mark symbol” ®. The trademark owner should be identified whenever possible, for example:
