Role Description
Primary Duties:
- Monitoring various tender platforms and actively seeking new tender, PQQ & framework opportunities
- Create, draft and manage tender, quote and change control documentation, clarifications and evaluation reports/bids.
- Coordination and delivery of client contract activities from tender planning through to award.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial requirements are understood and met.
- Support Account and Project Management teams with initial implementation plans for tenders.
- Identifying opportunities with new customers (business development) and existing customers, creating documentation for Management Teams to communicate/escalate.
- Support Contract negotiations and handover of successful tenders.
- Maintain schedules, trackers and risk logs.
- Contribute to lessons learnt and post-award contract reviews.
- Creation and management of analytical reporting for current client solutions and contracts.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for procurement documents.
Deputising Duties:
- On occasion, to deputise so far as is reasonably practicable and within their scope of knowledge, competency and availability, for the Contracts and Commercial Lead in their absence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Key Skills:
- Experience planning, managing and delivering tender processes, including documentation preparation, bid evaluation and structured submissions.
- Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders such as commercial, finance, operations and leadership teams.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Demonstrable database knowledge would be advantageous, but not mandatory in this role.
- Have an APMP qualification or be willing to undergo this certification.
Working Hours / Benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Holidays: 25 days per annum, plus recognised public holidays
