Clean Bill of Health
WDM®’s Pavement Management Software (PMS) applications have been given a clean bill of health by the Road Condition Management Group on behalf of the UK Roads Board.
The Company submits its PMS and UKPMS software modules for an annual health check and has been awarded its certificate for its system version 4.12.0. The purpose of the health check is to provide assurance that accredited systems continue to meet UKPMS requirements.
The PMS/UKPMS applications form a major part of an integrated asset management solution, which link highway condition data with accidents, structures, customer services, inventory, routine road and pavement maintenance, works orders, street works and street lighting.
Applications use server-based technology to deploy modules using client and web browser interfaces.
WDM® has a wide base of local and central government clients for WDM® Asset Management Systems and Ian Cadwallader, the Software Development Manager, says the annual accreditation and health check reassures everyone.
“We are continually trying to improve the scope of the programming we deliver by listening to our clients’ needs and desires – this certificate shows us we are on the right track,” he said.
