SCRIM® / SCRIMTEX
The SCRIM® helps reduce accident rates by measuring the wet skidding resistance of a road surface and is ideal for network skidding resistance surveys, with a daily survey capacity of 200 to 300 km depending upon road type.
Deflectograph measures the transient deflection of the road surface under the action of a rolling wheel at standard loading conditions to assess the structural condition of pavements.
Structures Management System
The W.D.M. Limited Structures Management System (SMS) provides a minimal risk solution, featuring a user defined asset base enabling the user to define structure types, geometry and components of the structure.
Structures Data Collector
Using data supplied from the WDM® Structures Management System, Structures Data Collector (SDC) provides on site data collection software allowing Inspectors to record Bridge Condition to the County Surveyors Society (CSS) Bridge Inspection rules.
Using data supplied from the WDM® Streetworks Management System via Streetworks Inspection Manager, Streetworks Inspection (SWI) provides onsite data collection software allowing Inspectors to record Inspections to Department of Transport Code of Practice for Inspections, 2002.

Accident Management System
Accident Manager software allows the user to: Import & Validate accident data; Fit accident data to a highway network; Summarise, Query and Report Accident data; Perform cluster analysis; Calculate accident rates together; and Analyse Accident data against Road Condition Datasets.
Visual Condition Surveys
WDM® is a major provider of CVI Surveys to Local Authorities. Its large team of fully certified and experienced surveyors use software and vehicles specifically designed to collect visual data, without the need for walked surveys.
Helping to lower accident rates by identifying where there is a risk of wet-road skidding. Since the mid-70’s the Sideway-force Coefficient Routine Investigation Machine (SCRIM®) method has been used by Highway Authorities to indicate those lengths of road where the skid resistance is below investigatory levels.
Road Assessment Vehicle Surveys
Road Assessment Vehicles (RAVs) carry out high speed data acquisition and recording of surface conditions, including automatic recognition of surface cracking. This gives performance indicators to enable maintenance work to be prioritised and National Indicators to be calculated.
